My career began in pharmaceutical research — earning a PhD in Pharmacy (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of Münster, with a research fellowship at the University of Nagoya in Japan. That foundation in rigorous science shaped how I approach everything I do today.
I transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison, first at Bayer in cardiovascular medicine, then at AstraZeneca in solid tumor oncology. Over the years, I advanced to Medical Affairs Manager, then Lead — driving medical strategy for breast cancer therapies and now for lung cancer.
What sets me apart is my conviction that Medical Affairs must evolve. I don't just manage medical plans — I build systems. Whether it's designing AI-powered workflows that save hundreds of hours, creating patient education platforms, or developing data dashboards that enable smarter decisions, I believe in leveraging technology to amplify the impact of medical science.
